EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK IN NOVEMBER
November is the ending month of the Autumn season in Nepal. However, trekking in the Everest region in the month of November is enormously incredible, providing quintessential weather and climate.
The weather in the Everest region in November is neither hot nor too cold. It's moderate with a clear sky. There is no chance of rainfall during November.
The climate gets colder and begins the pre-winter season at the end of November. There is also some chance of snow-falls that can happen from the beginning of December.
During the month of November, the average daytime temperature ranges from 15 °C to 0 °C. So, it is very cold indeed. At night the temperatures fall even more and usually fall below freezing. The average temperature at night falls between -2 °C to -12 °C.
Nighttime will be freezing cold at an altitude of 4,500 meters above sea level. If you are planning on a trek to Everest base camp in the month of November, you should better be prepared in trekking equipment with plenty of warmer clothes, expect chill and colder at night as you go higher, but the lower part of the Everest region has a moderate temperature.
