My daughter and I have just returned from an amazing 15day stay at Nepal including a 12 day trek to EBC and kalapattar.

I originally made contact with Dil, company owner of Alpine Ramble in September 2019. Always polite and professional and extremely helpful. Dil organised the entire event which included 3days stay at Kathmandu.

Our trek commenced on 25 November 2019 and ended on 6 December 2019. We were blessed with clear blue skies and warm sunshine throughout our trek to EBC.

Our guides, Ayush was the younger brother of Dil and Dika who has been a guiding for 9 years or so. Both were well organised and always put us before anything else. Our package included breakfast, lunch and evening dinner plus tea breaks throughout.

I must confess that without these two guys and Dil’s excellent organisation, we wouldn’t have made EBC let alone summit Kalapattar all in the same day.

We firstly summited Kalapattar then trekked to EBC just before sunset on the same day - a truly epic day for us and our guides. We were able to take some awesome photos and videos of EBC at sunset. We saw the beautiful stars at EBC whilst walking back to Gorak Shep.

What an ending to our once in a lifetime journey. We ate well, drank plenty of water and rested plenty at night.

Going with this company was the best decision we made and one that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.

Dil and his company are very receptive, totally organised and will take care of every aspect of your journey.

We stayed in really good quality lodges along the way and even had en-suite facilities at three of these.

Thank you so much Dil, Ayush and Dika.

Hope to return to Nepal one day again.

I just found the Alpine Ramble browsing online and I can consider very lucky. Communication was fast and easy and I was looking just for a porter cum guide and for the EBC trek and a guide for 3 days in Kathmandu. Dil provided me an excellent porter cum guide with extremely competitive prices. We met once I arrived at the hotel in KTM and we agreed for the itinerary. Dil was always present, everyday careful that everything was going as planned. Also, due to a delay on my arrival to KTM and an anticipated flight back, he was very helpful in contacting the flight company for adjusting the flight dates although I purchased the ticked by myself many months ahead.
Once back to KTM with 3 days in advance (in order to avoid a snow storm which would have kept me stuck in Lukla), he organized a tour with a super professional, expert and talkative guide (Rajesh) and driver.
Lastly, he came to pick me up at the hotel to bring me to the airport for my flight back to Italy.
I would and I strongly will recommend Alpine Ramble to all my friends who are planning to visit Nepal due to its perfect organization.

First of all I would like to thank Dil for arranging this for my Dad and I. We have just returned from Nepal from a 15 day stay which includes a 12 day hike to EBC and Kalapattar.

With the help of our guides Ayush (Dil’s younger brother) and Dika we were able to witness amazing scenery throughout the trip. We were truly blessed with clear blue sky’s and warm sunshine throughout the trek to EBC and Kalapattar

Our package included breakfast, lunch and evening dinner plus tea breaks throughout. Our Guides Ayush and Dika throughly went above and beyond for us with providing good quality lodges along the way and even had en-suite facilities at three of these!

We will always remember the hospitality from the people in Nepal and will cherish these in our memories forever!

Thank you to Dil and his company for providing us a truly beautiful and amazing trip.

Hoping to return to Nepal one day.

I'd like to thank Dil, Mingmar and entire team of Alpine Ramble trek for making this an unforgettable and exceptional experience for me. I was travelling alone but I never felt alone here because of the humble and great human beings like Dil and Mingmar. When I was in Kathmandu, Dil took care of picking me from airport, shopping, dining, tea, arranging for my trek and everything I needed. He always says that I am his brother from another mother. I am very much impressed with his hospitality. He is a great human being.

Mingmar took care of me during the trek in the mountains. Everyday morning he used to pack my bag, arranging for my food, led me to the trek, gave me insights into various mountains, arranged for the permits, booked rooms and made sure that I am well pampered througout. He made sure that I eat fruit every night and I stay healthy. During the trek, everyday I used to ask him how far it would take to the destination and how's the route, like Uphill or downhill. He'd very patiently answer me and led the way throughout. He never felt tired and is very humble. I never felt alone in the mountains. He was always there for me. I am very much impressed by him.

Finally I'd like to thank entire team of Alpine Ramble Trek for this wonderful experience. I am sharing two photos, one with Dil and other with Mimamg. Thank you.
